In an international team, Jabil Optics Germany develops innovative customized opto-electronic modules for new generation products in Consumer Lifestyle, Automotive and Industrial. For our R&D location in Jena, Germany, we are seeking a:

Process Engineer for Opto-electronical Systems (male/female)

• Development of assembly and joining processes for the design stage • Creation of assembly documents (work instructions, test plans, specifications, quality documents) and requirement specifications for the automation technology• Processes automation with the appropriate machines and transfer to production stage within the Jabil Optics organization • Implementation of machine qualifying and acceptance / process capability tests • Communication and coordination with international development and manufacturing teams • Support of the ramp-up phase (partially on-site at the manufacturing location)


• Master's degree in industrial engineering or equivalent • Experience in development, qualification and transfer of assembly and joining processes in an industrial environment • Practical experience in creating assembly and quality documents as well as developing machine quali-fying and process capability test • Experience in optics and automation technology preferred • Good knowledge of the English language (orally and in writing) • Willingness to travel world-wide (about 10%)
